Biography

Australian Folk-Pop singer/songwriter/guitarist, Malia Stirling grew up on the Sunshine Coast, where her childhood was abundant with art and music. Now, bouncing between her home town and the Central West NW, Malia takes inspiration from Australia's diverse landscapes and her experiences as a travelling musician.

Influenced by artists such as Missy Higgins, Joni Mitchell and Fleetwood Mac, Malia combines angelic vocals, relatable lyrics and acoustic accompaniment to connect with her audiences. With her down-to- earth persona she has captivated audiences across Australia, sharing stages with Thirsty Merc, Vanessa Amorosi, Darryl Braithwaite, Russel Morris, Dave Gleeson, Jack Jones, John Schumann, Shane Howard and more.
